Campomarino is a comune located in the Molise region of Italy. Here are some of its main features:

  • Beaches: Campomarino is known for its beautiful beaches along the Adriatic coast. The golden sandy beach is one of the main attractions and offers a great place to relax and swim.
  • Natural environment: The surrounding area is characterized by green and hilly countryside, perfect for hiking and nature walks.
  • History and culture: The country has a rich history, with old churches and monuments worth visiting. One of the main points of reference is the Church of Santa Maria a Mare, as well as the viewpoint over the sea which is located in the main square of the town.
  • Also interesting is the Palio delle Oche which takes place every year in April and which is organized by the La Compagnia del Bosco association. This is also a way to keep traditions alive and create moments of friendship and entertainment between the various districts.

To visit Campomarino, you can fly to the nearest airport, which could be Pescara airport or Naples airport, and then take a car or use public transport to reach the city.

The best time to visit Campomarino depends on your preferences. The summer season, from June to September, is ideal for enjoying the beaches and outdoor activities. However, if you’d rather avoid the crowds, you might want to consider spring or fall.
