For decades, the castle was known as a glamorous cultural salon where parties, social gatherings, and elegant receptions took place — a place where the sea breeze mixed with the charm of aristocratic life.
Abandonment and Restoration
Like many historic residences, the castle experienced periods of decline during the twentieth century. After years of neglect, it eventually underwent a major restoration project.
Today the castle has been carefully restored and converted into luxury private apartments overlooking the sea, preserving its historic character while adapting it for modern living.
Because it is now a private residence, the interior cannot generally be visited. However, the castle can still be admired from the surrounding coastline and nearby viewpoints.
