The best time to visit Ostia Antica depends on your personal preferences and the activities you wish to do during your visit.

From May to September, the temperatures are warmer and the days are longer, so it’s the ideal time to visit the archaeological site and enjoy the good weather.

In autumn the nature of the surrounding park changes colors. Thus it offers a unique experience for lovers of nature and outdoor walks, however temperatures can be cooler.

In winter, temperatures are cooler and there are fewer tourists, so it’s the ideal time to visit Ostia Antica in a quieter and less crowded environment.
