Where to go canyoning in Tuscany? Tuscany is also a land of special, adrenaline-pumping and adventurous experiences. In this short article, in fact, we will tell you and recommend 3 experiences to do if you like canyoning.

The Apuan Alps and this part of the Apennines with their limestone component has favored the occurrence of karst phenomena thanks to which deep canyons, ravines and abysses have been created to explore.Obviously we advise you to do it with the company of expert guides who, besides give you security, they will allow you to experience even more valuable experiences and memories.

Where to go canyoning in Tuscany? Here are the experiences we recommend you do:

  • In Lunigiana, you can walk and swim up the Strait of Giaredo (if you like a guide, you can find it in the Farfalle in Cammino-Sigeric responsible tourism association).
  • In Garfagnana you can practice canyoning on the Rio Silano, venture into the emerald green of the waterfalls and natural pools (also in this case you can have the support of the Apians guides.
  • If you are looking for adrenaline, consider going down to the Orrido di Botri. It is a difficult to access gorge, inaccessible where eagles nest (in this case a guide’s help is necessary).
