The Via Verde is a cycle/pedestrian path that crosses the Costa dei Trabocchi, a beautiful coastal area in Abruzzo, Italy. It stretches for about 36 kilometres. Starts from San Salvo Marina and arriving in Ortona, and follows the layout of an old disused railway.

This track has recently been renovated and is now an excellent alternative for those who want to enjoy the beauty of the Costa dei Trabocchi on foot or by bicycle. The track is completely flat, making it suitable for people of all ages and fitness levels. Along the way you can admire breathtaking views of the coast. You will be able to admire golden sandy beaches, cliffs, overflows (ancient wooden piers built by fishermen to catch fish) and the view of the crystal clear sea.
