La Pelosa beach is one of the most beautiful in Sardinia and Italy. as well as being one of the most evocative and well-known in the entire Mediterranean. It is characterized by a very fine white sand and its sea is of a rare iridescent blue towards turquoise.

It has a very shallow seabed even at a distance of tens of meters from the shore and also for this reason it is very popular with families with small children, the elderly but also by young people for games and fun.

In front of the beach there is a small islet on which stands an Aragonese tower, built in 1578 and called ” Torre de La Pelosa “.

The monument will shortly be restored by the Superintendence of Archaeological Heritage of Sassari. Before this intervention it is not advisable to visit it because the stairs no longer exist and climbing can be dangerous.
