Discovering the medieval village of Rocca di Papa and its incredible alleys between churches, squares, fountains and murals. The visit will lead us to the heart of the Alban Hills, to discover one of the historic villages of the Castelli Romani: Rocca di Papa.
The village preserves its medieval layout intact and offers wonderful views of houses clinging to the rock and the intricate labyrinth of steep alleys hidden among the buildings. The town is dominated by the Belvedere of the medieval fortress, an archaeological site of great value, where the view is lost reaching the sea. Do not miss the itinerary to discover beautiful murals and the sanctuary of the Madonna del Tufo.
At the end of the visit, packed lunch at the Campi d’Annibale to celebrate the traditional May Day festival together. Guided tour by Dr. Luca Terriaca.
