Castellaro Lagusello is a small medieval village located in the province of Mantua, in the Lombardy region of Italy. One of the most notable peculiarities of Castellaro Lagusello is the fact that it is built on a hill surrounded by a lake, the Lake of Castellaro, which creates a unique and suggestive landscape.

The village was founded in the 10th century and has remained substantially intact until today. The narrow streets and alleys that wind between the stone houses, the castle walls, the civic tower, the Romanesque church of San Giorgio and the town hall make Castellaro Lagusello an authentic jewel of the Italian historical and artistic heritage.
