The Mole di Narni is located near the Nera gorge, a few kilometers from Narni and Stifone. In fact, right here, you can admire a hidden gem. It is a narrow valley where the Nera river flows, forming a natural pool that will show itself to your eyes with beautiful shades of turquoise and emerald.
Its waters are so clear that the rocks on the seabed are visible. The shores of the artificial lake are surrounded by wild vegetation and on sultry days the place becomes an ideal refuge. The municipality has recently re-evaluated the area and built a wooden solarium called the “Solarium Fiume Nera”.
Mole di Narni is located along the Narni-Nera Montoro-Orte road, a few hundred meters from Stifone. The address to be entered is Strada dello Stabilimento. You can arrive by car and leave it along a driveway and then walk down. In front of you you will immediately see the swimming pool with all its variations of colors.

The best time to visit the Mole di Narni varies according to personal tastes, but it is generally advisable to visit it in the spring (March-June) or autumn (September-October) months to avoid the summer heat and enjoy the more temperate and of the verdant landscape.
