In this article, we will advise you on how to reach the Archaeological Park of the Terme di Baia starting from Naples. The Archaeological Park of the Terme di Baia is located in the city of Bacoli, in the Campania region of Italy. This archaeological park is one of the largest marine archaeological areas in the world, and includes a wide range of ancient Roman bath structures.

The baths of Baia were built between the 1st century BC. and the 4th century AD. and they were among the largest and most luxurious baths of ancient Rome. They were built on the shores of the Tyrrhenian Sea, near the city of Naples, and include many facilities, including swimming pools, baths, massage rooms, saunas and gardens.

How to reach the Terme di Baia starting from Naples by public transport?

Starting from the very central Via Toledo you will have to reach Montesanto station (here the GPS point) and take the train to Torrevegata and get off at Fusaro station (after 13 stops). From Fusaro station you will have to take a short walk of about 10 minutes for 800 meters and you will arrive at the Archaeological Park of the Terme di Baia.

How long does it take?

From Montesanto station to Fusaro station the journey time is about 40 minutes.
