Have you already tasted Confetti of Sulmona? Thanks to the photo sent by our reader Mario Amorosi we can closely appreciate one of the most sought-after delicacies of Abruzzo: the Confetti of Sulmona. In fact, there are several confectionery factories in the center of the Peligna Valley that deal with the production of confetti, such as the Pelino confectionery factory with an adjoining museum.

Perhaps you will like to know that a view inside the factory is also possible, even during special events such as the FAI Spring Days this year it will be possible to visit both the Fabbrica Pelino and William Di Carlo factories).

Finally, there are many small shops scattered in the historic center where you can buy them while visiting this beautiful and historic town in Abruzzo.
