The Salinello waterfalls are a wonder of nature located in the Abruzzo region of Italy. They are made up of several waterfalls, all fed by the Salinello river. The largest of these waterfalls has a height of around 35 meters and offers a breathtaking sight for both visitors and locals.

These falls are surrounded by untouched wilderness, with a diverse array of plants and animals living in the area. The area is also steeped in history and culture, with several archaeological sites and ancient ruins scattered along the trails around the waterfalls.

How to reach the Salinello waterfalls?

The area of the Salinello Falls is accessible to everyone, offering easy paths for walks and more demanding paths for longer excursions. Furthermore, there are also several tourist attractions such as natural pools, caves and adventure trails. In short, the Salinello waterfalls are an enchanting place, a true marvel of nature and an unmissable destination for those who love nature, adventure and culture.

Here is a path you can walk

From Ripe to the Gole del Salinello: The village of Ripe (611 metres) can be reached from the crossroads at km 17.300 of the state road 81, between the two crossroads for Civitella del Tronto used by those arriving from Teramo and the crossroads (at Villa Lempa) used by those arriving from Ascoli Piceno. Leave the car in the clearing next to the church, climb the asphalt for a few meters, and then turn left onto the road, closed to private traffic, which immediately becomes a dirt road and continues slightly downhill towards the Gole del Salinello (continue reading on gransassolagapark.it)
