Tuscany. Have you ever visited the Galleria dell’Accademia in Florence?

The Galleria dell’Accademia is a museum in Florence, located in Via Ricasoli. The museum, fourth in Italy for number of visitors after the Uffizi, exhibits the largest number of Michelangelo’s sculptures in the world (seven), including the famous David.

Inside the Gallery there are also other sections, among which the largest and most important collection in the world of paintings with a gold background, and the Museum of Musical Instruments, where many artifacts belonging to the historical collection of the Conservatorio Luigi Cherubini.

In 2016, the museum circuit of the Accademia Gallery and Museum of Musical Instruments recorded 1 461 185 visitors.
