Do you want a walk in the area of Campello sul Clitunno and its magical sources? What we suggest in this short article is the Path of Olives, a very beautiful and regenerating itinerary of about 7.5 kilometers (to be done in about 5 hours) and of medium difficulty that will allow you to get to know some symbolic places of this part of Umbria.

The starting point is the junction of the state road 458/1 “di Pettino” and the road to the hamlet of Poreta and the arrival point is the Hermitage of the Allodoline. The stops of interest along the route are the dovecote towers of Lenano, the Castle of Campello Alto, the Fonti del Clitunno, the Tempietto del Clitunno and the Castle of Pissignano.

The path is a mixture of dirt and asphalt and the scarce availability of water along the way makes it necessary to have a sufficient supply. For a detailed guide of this itinerary, you can consult this link.
