The bivouac or refuge Andrea Bafile is located at an altitude of 2669 meters, located on a rocky wall of the Corno Grande. It is a strategic refuge because it guarantees valid support and shelter for those hikers who need it (for both meteorological and other reasons) during the passage through the Forchetta del Calderone during the crossing of the Corno Grande.
